Veritas ("we", "us") builds escrow and cross-border payment tools for freelancers and clients. This policy explains what we collect while you're on our waitlist and how we handle it. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.
1. Information we collect
While Veritas is in waitlist, the only personal information we collect is the email address you submit to join. We also collect basic, non-identifying analytics — such as which pages are visited and the type of device used — to understand interest and improve the site.
2. How we use it
We use your email solely to:
- Notify you when Veritas launches on iOS & Android;
- Share occasional product updates about the launch;
- Invite you to early access if a beta becomes available.
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, which removes you from the waitlist.
3. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us operate — for example, our email delivery and analytics partners — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. They are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
4. Data retention
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it or until the waitlist concludes, whichever comes first. After that, it is deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@useveritasapp.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and limit access to personal data to the people who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
